-Phonar · Photography + Narrative
-We are slaves to our habits, it's the foundation of our lives in which we interact and live around
-Systems don't want us to think for ourselves, we are introduced/inducted in to them and told to abide them leaving us no permission to change or fixate them. But we don't need permission to do so.
-Photograph can be defined as two-dimensional, fixed in time, bounded by a frame, etc.
-Unlike an image, a photograph captures the experience. (Think Snapchat)
-Is everyone a photographer? Everyone has access to a camera (phone, camera, electronic device), therefore, NO. These are mere images.
-Facebook is the biggest outlet of photography (?)
-Photographs are circular, we just crop and chop them.
-There are square just to ship around easily.
-Mode of delivery -> shape we see image.

-The book has instilled linear point of view which transcends over into how we view and perceive photographs
-We only understand new media by looking back at old media
-Triangular Relationship: Author, Subject, and Reader
-Everyone is a photo supplier, NOT a photographer (see above for difference)
-Transmedia · different stories and perspective shaping a certain story or icon
-What makes you different? Artisan + Connected + Trusted
-Artisan · specialized craft skill
-Connected · your network
-Trusted · your relationship/brand which established your trust through your contextual understanding of a certain matter or subject

-When connected one can make a network/hub (Basetrack)
-Different culture creates a different image for the same photograph (Tank Photograph)
-Through photography you can change the world -> Access the World
In a rough sum
Beyond the supplier, a photographer inputs their perspective and mastery of digital fluency to produce an image that goes beyond the means of the frame that it is bound or cropped down to. On social media, hard copy, or both. It captures an experience, a memory that is significant enough to change or move somebody. Whether it be an individual, a group of people- say colleagues, friends, or family members, or even the world.
